I wandered lonely as a cloud-
June 13, 2007
| I wandered lonely as a cloud That floats on high o’er vales and hills, When all at once I saw a crowd, A host, of golden daffodils; Beside the lake, beneath the trees, Fluttering and dancing in the breeze. Continuous as the stars that shine The waves beside them danced; but they For oft, when on my couch I lie –William Wordsworth (first published 1815) |
waltzing with our words
September 3, 2006
dancing with temptation we are
together our words hint nothing and suggest everything
the mind is a powerful tool indeed-
these repetitious thoughts abuse my very state of being
again, my heartstrings are ripped every which way
a desperate cry for clarity beckons from the depths of my soul
speak simply and truthfully dear soldier
layman’s terms, if you must
do not disappear into the dark, cold, perilous night
together, let us fight death and conquer life
unwritten words do linger
May 7, 2006
Her hand trembles at the words to slow to come
Scent of spring so sweetly captured among the bloom in range
Inhalation upon exhalation the shameful addiction gains momentum
With little time and little faith, clarity is left to be found
The verse remains unwritten…the music fades…
Discovering comfort in the form of one mans expression
Awaken by his mysterious fervor
Clinging to declarations
Aspiring to rescue from the darkest of sufferings
Unexpectedly into the night departs the dark soldier
Fragile is she grace
Searching for a love that will not fail
Deepest of dreams do sweep her from the soil
Ashes to ashes soon shall she return.
third beauty emergence
April 10, 2006
News traveled today, reaching me at my home.
In pensive mood, I thought but a dream
Through sinful acts and selfish ways:
a third beauty has emerged.
